Do I need a referral?
No, at Fortus Health Physiotherapy we see patients that do not have a referral from a GP. Many of our patients are referred from doctors and specialists in Brisbane but this is not essential.
WorkCover and CTP
If you were injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident and your claim is being managed by WorkCover, a private insurer or CTP (compulsory third party insurance) you will need a referral so that your costs are covered by your insurer.
DVA
Fortus Health Physiotherapy is currently registered to treat DVA patients.
Parking and Access
Free parking is available off Hamilton road with close street level access to the clinic.
Public Transport
Fortus Health Physiotherapy is situated a 5 minute walk away from one of Brisbane’s major public transport hubs at the Westfield Shopping Centre Chermside.
Payment
Payment is required on the day of treatment. Eftpos facilities are available and we accept most major cards.

You can claim your treatment through your private health fund.
At Fortus Health Physiotherapy we provide an electronic rebate facility that connects with your health fund. You can claim directly from your health-fund and then use your credit or debit card to pay the gap.
